Welcome to Hidden Gem Staycations, we offer South West holiday homes which have their own uniqueness and qualities which make them "Hidden Gems."

The rugged North Devon coast has so much to offer and caters for a range of holiday makers. It's a walkers haven with miles of coastal paths, unspoiled dramatic coastlines with an abundance of fauna and flora you don't see everyday, large natural waterfalls and quaint villages and hamlets. Advanced surfers travel here from far and wide for the all year round surf. Families are spoilt for choice as they can choose Devon or Cornwall, Bude or Westward Ho! both offering large sandy beaches, sea pools and the whole seaside experience with quaint shops and amusement centres. The Hartland Quay is a breath-taking place, a must see along with it's neighbouring quaint village Clovelly. Activities are endless with adventure parks like The Big Sheep, Milky Way Adventure Park and Ultimate Adventure Centre, along with nature trails including the famous Tarka Trail and Tamar Lakes. There are some fabulous traditional country pubs in the area too, again you are spoilt for choice, all dog friendly and serving delicious food.

We have been visiting North Devon for holidays for over 10 years and we love it that much we took the decision to move here from the Midlands in 2020 swapping for the way of life and to live by the coast. Little Orchard is our home which we decided to offer to holiday makers for the peak holiday periods, we have started renovating the property with this in mind ensuring a convenient, comfortable and relaxing holiday for all of our guests. Our second holiday home is only at the planning stage and we will be excited to share this with you in the near future. We are now delighted to be hosting a number of lodges located in Hartland Forest which benefit from being located in this wonderful area of outstanding natural beauty.
